Joe Bernardo was born and raised a die-hard Lakers fan in the land of purple and gold. As a young boy, he learned the game of basketball by playing hoops with his father and listening to late, great Chick Hearn. When he’s not scouring the internet for a live stream of Laker games, he’s busy completing his Ph.D. dissertation from the University of Washington, working at a social justice philanthropic organization in Los Angeles, and convincing his wife to become a Dwight Howard fan.
